GreenSpine 100
TM
Project
Renewable Energy and Biochar Pilot System
Brief description
The GreenSpine 100 project involves modular systems for the complete processing of organic waste on the tribe's territory. The system includes not only the gasification unit itself, but also a preliminary system for preparing raw materials, providing a complete technological line - from the receipt of raw materials to the release of finished products: electricity, heat, biochar and fertilizers.
The technical partner is C21st Century, Inc.
The tribe is the grant recipient, the owner of the site and the beneficiary of the project.
Objectives and tasks

-
Implement a functioning pilot complex with power generation of 30-100 kW
-
Ensure a closed ecological model: from waste collection to useful products
-
Create jobs and competencies on the territory of the tribe
-
Transfer a sustainable and scalable technology to the tribe
Justification

Tribal territories face systemic challenges:
-
High cost and instability of energy
-
Lack of local waste recycling
-
Unavailability of flexible and adaptable solutions
-
Need for development of internal energy and environmental infrastructure
The GreenSpine 100 project addresses these challenges taking into account the specifics of the tribal way of life, scale, climate and human resources.
Project Description
General structure of the system
The system consists of the following blocks:
1. Raw material preparation unit
▪ Chopper: crushing wood, packaging, agricultural waste
▪ Vibrating screen: removing foreign inclusions and controlling fractions
▪ Press machine (optional): compaction of unstable fractions
2. Gasification plant
-
Reactor, cooler, filters
3. Energy generation
-
Electric generator (30-100 kW), heating circuit
4. Output streams
-
Biochar, fertilizers, ash residues
5. Operator training
Technical parameters
