Tribal Pilot Projects

C21st Century, Inc. | Partnering with Tribal Nations for Sustainable Innovation

"Tribe owns — we build"

At C21st Century, Inc., we are launching a strategic pilot program with Native American Tribes to co-deploy compact biomass-to-energy systems. These pilots serve as demonstration projects to validate the technology, bring measurable environmental and energy benefits, and prepare for larger-scale grant-funded deployments.

Pilot Configuration (2025–2026)

We are offering to co-deploy the following units:

  • 2 × 15 kW biomass gasification systems

  • 1 × 30 kW biomass gasification system

The 15 kW units are working prototypes, while the 30 kW system will reflect the future full-scale configuration. All units are intended to operate on wood waste, agricultural residues, manure, or other organic feedstock available locally.

What the Tribe Provides

  • Letter of Interest (LOI) confirming willingness to host a pilot project

  • Access to land (small footprint) and feedstock

  • Commitment to jointly pursue grant funding (state, federal, and tribal-specific)

  • Optional: basic logistics or labor support

Ownership of the equipment will rest fully with the Tribe. C21st Century, Inc. will serve as the technical contractor under a project agreement.

System Output

Each unit is capable of producing:

  • Clean electricity and heat

  • Syngas (synthetic gas) for energy applications

  • Biochar, a stable form of carbon with soil improvement and carbon-credit potential

Systems are autonomous, containerized, and tailored for off-grid or hybrid applications.

System Components (Example Package)

  • Biomass Gasifier Core Unit

  • Syngas Cleaning Module

  • Power Generation Module (inverter-ready)

  • Biochar Collection

  • Feeding System (hopper, shredder, auger conveyors)

  • Vibrating screen for size sorting

  • Remote monitoring capability

Why This Matters

This pilot program enables your Nation to:

  • Address waste management challenges (wood, agri-residues, manure)

  • Reduce reliance on fossil energy in remote areas

  • Build tribal capacity for grant applications and long-term sustainability

  • Demonstrate environmental leadership and carbon sequestration potential through biochar

  • Gain firsthand experience with an emerging waste-to-value platform

Let’s Talk!

We are actively inviting Tribes interested in hosting pilot installations. We can support you in grant identification, application drafting, and technical integration. This partnership is non-binding and designed to build trust and shared benefit.
